Very nice saw. It has a dust pick-up that comes out of the rear of the unit. It's not compatable with the 1 1/4" vacuum and I asked amazon if an adaper was available. Evidently in this case they didn't think it was important enough to get back to me.
This jig saw runs about as good as my father in law's dewalt cordless jig. this isn't going to replace a seriouse woodworkers jigsaw, but it deffinalty does the job for a hobbiest or someone who wants a steal of a deal on good tools. i have the complete set of denali tools, and love each one, but love the pricetag even more.
I had never even heard of the brand Denali before this, but I am certainly going to replace my old circular saw soon and new reciprical too. If there is any problem it is with removing the battery from the saw - a large hand is needed to reach around both sides.
It is heavy, but not nearly as heavy as the one it replaced. The instructions say a recharge should last about an hour, but I found it lasts almost two hours before needing a recharge.
Until now I have been very disappointed with rechargeable tools - poor battery life, heavy and awkward to use or life of the tool is so short it is a waste of money, but this saw is different. The battery recharges quickly too.
Cleans easily and is much quieter than others I've used, so much so I don't need ear plugs. (Safety glasses are a must with any power tool).
I can manage but it is a bit awkward at times. I recommend this tool for all the above reasons, and one more - For the price it performs better than ones costing three and four times as much.
